MegaFon agree to buy 5,000 base stations from Bulat

MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator MegaFon and telecom equipment maker Bulat have signed a forward contract for up to 5,000 base stations to be supplied in 2024–2026, PRIME reported on Thursday.

“As of today we’ve agreed on signing of a second forward contract, which is critically important, with MegaFon,” Bulat General Director Alexander Komarov said.

Financial parameters will depend on configurations of supplies and be set when orders are made for releases.

“We have agreed with our partner on supplies of equipment meeting all technical requirements of high-quality connection service for the subscribers,” a MegaFon spokesperson said.
